Sisqo was born Mark Althavean Andrews in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 9, 1976. He grew up in a musical family and began singing and dancing at a young age. Sisqo attended Baltimore City College High School and was a member of the school's choir.
Music Career
Sisqo signed a record deal with Def Jam Recordings in 1998. His debut album, Unleash the Dragon, was released in 1999 and featured the hit single "Thong Song". The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a global hit. Sisqo followed up with three more studio albums, but none of them achieved the same level of success as Unleash the Dragon.
Acting Career
Sisqo has also appeared in several films and television shows. He made his acting debut in the 2000 movie "Honey". He has also starred in "Drumline" (2002),"The Bernie Mac Show" (2003),and "One on One" (2004).
Personal Life
Sisqo is married to Elizabeth Pham. The couple has two children. Sisqo is also a practicing Christian.
