Hamilton played a key role in several important battles, including the Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Yorktown. He was also a member of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, and he helped to write the Constitution of the United States.

Hamilton also helped to fund the national debt, and he introduced a system of tariffs to protect American industry. Hamilton's economic policies were controversial, but they helped to lay the foundation for the economic growth of the United States.

He served in the House of Representatives from 1793 to 1795, and he was a member of the Senate from 1795 to 1799. Hamilton was a powerful voice in Congress, and he helped to shape the policies of the United States.
